The oldest museum in Japan!

Tokyo National Museum, the oldest museum in Japan was established in 1872. It was built to collect and study Eastern art works and archaeological remains including Japanese ones. Today, the museum owns more than 600 beautiful works such as paintings and sculptures! Temporal exhibitions are also popular.
