Hara Museum of contemporary art
Mr. Kunizo Hara, a famous businessman, used to live at this museum’s building and his grandson opened as a museum to the public. Many foreigners who love arts visit here to see temporal exhibitions. Hara Museum Arc, which is a sister museum of Hara Museum, is located at Gunma prefecture. In 2020 December, Hara Museum in Tokyo will be transferred to this Hara Museum Arc. Why don’t you visit here before it will be transferred to Gunma?

Nikon Museum
This museum was built in 2015 to celebrate 100th anniversary of Nikon company. There are 12 areas exhibiting Nikon’s products and you can see numerous camera lenses (about 400 lenses…!) and other high technological items. What makes here special is that you can enter for free to take a look at the whole Nikon history. Even you’re not a fan of cameras, I would like you to visit here to feel Japanese technology.

Tokyo has special 10 shrines selected by Meiji Emperor that he sent imperial messengers to hope for national protection. Shinagawa shrine is one of those special shrines and we wish for everything basically. You can also find a small fountain called ‘Ichiryumanbai’ at this shrine. This fountain is believed to be lucky with money and many people wash their coins at this fountain water!
