“Japan’s first open-air concert hall!”
Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall at Hibiya Park has 2 halls, small and big open-air concert halls. The small hall was built in 1905 as the first open-air concert hall in Japan. It has 1,075 seats and every concerts are for free. Tokyo Metropolitan Police Color Band often plays at this hall. The big open-air concert hall was first built in 1923 and the current hall was built in 1983 after several renovations. The big hall has 2,664 seats and is also used by various artists.
