“A monument in Tokyo station!”

Gin no Suzu is a famous monument of silver bell located on the first basement floor of Tokyo station inside the ticketing gates. It is the 4th generation silver bell since 1964 when the Shinkansen has launched. This monument was installed to make a meeting spot as many people got lost at the big Tokyo station then. Bells in Japan have meanings to call gods and call peoples’ attentions.
