Ota Memorial Museum of Art is a museum specializing in Japanese traditional painting, Ukiyo-e. Ukiyo-e paintings became popular during Edo period and it shows the life of common people using woodblock prints and paintings. The museum has about 14,000 Ukiyo-e artworks including Ukyo-e by the famous Katsushika Hokusai and Utagawa Hiroshige. The museum is about 5 minutes walk from Harajuku station.
