Chidorigafuchi Park
Chidorigafuchi is one of the most famous cherry blossom spots in Japan. It is located at western part of the Imperial Palace and has about 180 cherry trees of Somei Yoshino and Yama Zakura. You can enjoy the boat ride here and the fantastic night illumination.

Meguro River
Cherry blossoms beautifully bloom over 4 kilometers on both banks of the Meguro river. About 800 cherry trees are lined up and most of them are Somei Yoshino cherry. You can enjoy fashionable stores and cafes along the river! At night, cherry blossoms are majestically lit up.

Rikugien Garden
Rikugien Garden has very famous Shidare Zakura in its beautiful garden. It has about 40 cherry trees of Somei Yoshino and Shidare Zakura. Night illumination of Shidare Zakura here is breathtaking and impressive. Rikugien Garden is designated as a special place of scenic beauty by the country.

Shinjuku Gyoen National Park
Shinjuku Gyoen National Park is an oasis of the busy city, Tokyo. It has about 65 types of 1,000 cherry blossoms in the park…! Starting from Kawazu Zakura, early cherry blossom in late February, you can enjoy various cherry blossoms for about 2 months here. The park usually do a night light up for about 10 days during the full bloom of Yae Zakura cherry.

Ueno Park
Ueno Park is widely known as the Mecca of cherry blossoms from Edo period. The park has about 800 cherry trees which are mainly Somei Yoshino cherry. At night, Japanese table lamp with a paper shade called Bonbori beautifully light up the cherry blossoms!

Sumida Park is located on the both banks of the Sumida River. Cherry blossoms beautifully bloom over 1 kilometers on the both banks. Apart from cherry blossoms view from the park, you can also admire cherry blossoms from the Sumida River by getting on the boat!

Happoen Garden is a famous wedding venue in Tokyo. The Japanese garden has about 80 various cherry trees such as Kawazu Zakura, Yae Zakura, and Shidare Zakura. If you would like to see cherry blossoms at a Japanese style garden, you should not miss here. Night illumination is also stunning.

Inokashira Park
The park has about 500 cherry trees and about 250 cherry trees around the Inokashira Pond. Most of them are Somei Yoshino and Yama Zakura. The view from a boat, cherry blossom’s reflection on the pond, and a flurry of cherry blossom petals are just amazing here.

Tokyo Midtown Roppongi
Tokyo Midtown’s 200 meters long sakura street has about 150 Somei Yoshino cherry trees. The building of the defense agency was located here until 2000 for about 400 years and these cherry trees are from that time. The tunnel of these cherry trees are just wonderful. You can also enjoy some sakura events at Tokyo Midtown!

Yoyogi Park
Yoyogi Park is a big greenery located in the middle of Tokyo, near Harajuku and Meiji Jingu Shrine. It has about 700 cherry trees of various types. You can sit on the grass here and enjoy drinking alcohols while admiring beautiful cherry blossoms.

Imperial Palace East Garden
This garden has about 250 cherry trees such as Somei Yoshino and Kawazu Zakura. It is not allowed to drink alcohols or play sports at this garden so you can sit on the grass safely and enjoy your time here! The view of cherry blossoms with Edo Castle’s remains are fantastic and can only be seen here.
