“A museum with beautiful Japanese garden!”

The museum has about 7,400 collections of paintings, textiles, lacquers, ceramics, and more mainly from Japan and Asian countries. The museum opened in 1941 and reopened in 2009 after renovation. The museum is beautifully designed by Kuma Kengo, the famous Japanese architect and you should not also miss the wonderful Japanese garden designed by him. It is about 10 minutes walk from Omotesando station. The museum is closed based on each exhibition so please check the official calendar before visiting!
