National Museum of Nature and Science, Tokyo
This museum was established in 1877 and is one of the oldest museums in Japan. Permanent exhibitions are divided into Japan gallery and global gallery which explain the history of Japan and the earth from scientific points of view. Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum
Kunio Maekawa, a Japanese modern architect who learned from Le Corbusier, one of the great pioneers of modern architecture, built this museum. It is the first national art museum in Japan established in 1926. About 300 temporary exhibitions are held in a year. Even the exhibitions may require admission fee, the entrance fee for the building is free.

After you get out the Ueno station, this beautiful park waits you there. It is a large park that has museums and zoo in the site. The statue of Takamori Saigo in the park is also famous.
