Takeshita street is the most famous shopping street in Harajuku. The street is always crowded with many young people and Kawaii culture expanded to the world from here. Kawaii is roughly translated ‘cuteness’ and I’m sure you will hear this word a lot in Japan. Many stores for the young are lined up so you can get trendy accessories, clothes, or knick-knacks at a good price. The street is also filled with photogenic dishes, sweets, and graffitis.
