Where is Shinjuku?

Shinjuku, a town always energetic with many people from all over the world…!In 2016, Shinjuku station was awarded a Guinness Record for the largest daily number of passengers using the station. It is literally the most populous station in the world! Streets are taken up with department stores, luxurious brand shops, and major electronic and home appliances chain stores. You can imagine that Shinjuku is a great place to enjoy shopping. Oh, and once you walk a little way, there are business town with high buildings and large park with lush greenery. Shinjuku shows many faces so don’t miss any of them!

Kabukicho

Most energetic and colorful town at Shinjuku is Kabukicho. You can say Kabukicho is one of the brightest town in Japan. Especially at night, the town is filled with countless lights and it is the place we want you to snap some pics!

“An attack by Godzilla! “
TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku

Godzilla suddenly appeared in Shinjuku?! This is a huge Godzilla monument built at TOHO cinemas, a movie theater, in Kabukicho. It looks like a real Godzilla is attacking the building. You should take pics here, one of famous tourist attractions.

Don Quijote

The store is packed with tremendous products. Don Quijote’s ad slogan is “surprisingly cheap hall of fame”. You can get anything for cheap (DUTY FREE for foreigners!) from foods, toys, cosmetics, high brand products, clothes, party goods, to Tokyo souvenirs etc… Even the narrow stores are always crowded and hard to move around, it is a place you wan to visit for duty free!

Tokyo Metropolitan Government

It is one of the high buildings with outstanding appearance of two large pillars. This is the Tokyo Metropolitan Government playing a significant role to govern the metropolis Tokyo. Even it is a building for government, you can also enjoy sightseeing for free. Guests can enter the observatory on 45th floor, 200 meters in height! There are First government building & Second government building. The First government building has the observatory. Please note that it is not an open air observatory. Beautiful southern and northern Tokyo views welcome you here! 

At night, you can enjoy lovely night scenery of Tokyo.

Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden

This garden was constructed in 1906 as an imperial garden. The size is 58.3 hectare and is one of the most important gardens from Meiji era. There are three types of garden, Formal Garden, Landscape Garden, Japanese traditional Garden here. You can find the history of Imperial family and enjoy Matcha tea with the beautiful garden.
